Chat Groups and Lists

One of the primary ways Pagans are getting together on the Internet is through chat groups, message boards and mailing lists.

www.Yahoogroups.com is the primary source for these lists.  www.Smartgroups.com and www.Topica.com, and MSN  are also becoming popular within the Pagan Community.

While we cannot list all Pagan chat groups (there are thousands) we have compiled a list of established groups that welcome newcomers to help you get started.

Please note that we do not include any region specific lists (the Internet's a really big place) including our own (ie: VirginiaPagans)  You can access groups that are topic specific to your area by doing a search for "Pagan" and "your state, country, etc" at the Yahoogroups search page:

Pagan_Living
After being on several other Pagan and Wiccan lists I realized that an area for just simple Pagan Life chat was needed. Most lists are for specifics....for just learning or teaching the way. Unfortunatly when chat would occur some would get upset. So, this is a simple concept. This list is for chat...for gabbing...for people of the Pagan pathways to converse without having to 'disturb' the normal flow of things.

Pagancrafts
This is a list that is open for discussion of all kinds of pagan and/or natural crafts. This includes all herbal crafts and other things such as soaping, candlemaking, sewing, embroidery and anything else you can think of. We want to keep the focus on natural crafting - using items from nature rather than chemicals you get from the store - as much as possible. There will, however, be some discussion about "ritual" crafting such as that of incenses, oils, and other things used in pagan rituals.
